Publisher Amanda Callas is an award winning filmmaker, writer, performer, and producer. Her films have played and won awards in Vienna, Lisbon, Belfast, Iran, Scotland, Mexico, Palm Beach, and Los Angeles. Amanda has done science writing for NASA, reconstructed Egyptian papyri, worked as a sushi chef, and played a nervous elf bride on a TV sitcom. Amanda studied for her masters in Classics at the University of Cambridge, UK. These days she is always cooking, writing, taking photos, or most often, reading and exploring the world with her adventure loving, daredevil munchkins. Amanda lives in Los Angeles with ever-growing stacks of books, and her sweet, rambunctious family of artists.

Editor Otto Logan is an actor, writer, director, filmmaker, tech innovator, mathematician, playwright, and legendary fun dad. He spent his childhood in a charming, sleepy town in the Deep South, along with time in Germany and Austria. His favorite book growing up was The Neverending Story by Michael Ende.

Luna is 7 years old and Little Owl House’s in house editor and reader. Luna loves drawing, painting, acting, all kinds of crafts (the messier the better!), baking, tasty snacks, hikes, and reading. A few of Luna’s favorite books include Uncle Arthur’s Bedtime Stories, the Tales of Beatrix Potter, Winnie the Pooh books, Disney collections, Egyptology books, fairy tale anthologies, Osborne’s Lift The Flap Periodic Table, the Random House Book of Opera Stories, and many more.

Wolfie is 6 years old and Little Owl House’s critic, cheerleader, and reader. Wolfie loves Star Wars, Spiderman, and Pixar’s Cars. He loves big plates of pasta, playing with cars, acting, going on hikes and beach walks, and light up bubble makers. Some of his favorite books include Usborne’s Lift the Flap Periodic Table, Lift the Flap Times Tables, and Lift the Flap Fractions and Decimals, Star Wars books, DC Comic books, Winnie the Pooh books, Gods and Thunder: A Graphic Novel of Old Norse Myths, and many more.

Minnie is Luna's best friend, a nervous, sweet-tempered fluffy Chow Chow best known for stealing yummy snacks, chewing on random things, and warming the feet of cold readers. Minnie also loves picture books.
